The Ascaso Dream and newer Dream Up machines have long been considered one of the best prosumer (Professional consumer) coffee machines in the world and with good reason. Ascaso Dream espresso machines are hand made from aluminium and as such they have extremely strong bodies. 95% of Espresso machines that you will buy under $1000 will be shoddy plastic and made in china. Due to Ascaso Dream coffee machines being hand crafted in Spain, you will see some irregularities between machines so no two Ascaso Dream espresso machines are ever 100% the same. Isn't that refreshing in this day and age of mass produced production lines?

Ascaso Dream espresso machines take making coffee seriously and it starts with the group head. All models feature a brass group head that is extremely important for achieving stable and consistent temperatures on each extraction. This philosophy is backed up in their use of brass boilers in all Ascaso Dream espresso machines. Again using brass allows for much more stable temperatures as well as faster recovery times. Ascaso even puts their thermostat outside the boiler to avoid damage in the event of running dry.

Other great features of the Ascaso Dream espresso machines include a 16 bar pump as well as a unique over pressure valve that greatly reduces dripping (Common on cheaper machines) after you've pulled your shot of espresso and perfectly frothed milk is also achievable on the new Ascaso Dream Up models as they come as standard with a three hole steam wand (Similar to a commercial machine) Now there's no excuse for a bad cappuccino at home!
